What is this National Day of Action?
We just launched our new television ad: Australia Says Yes. The ad features famous Australians Michael Caton and Cate Blanchett standing alongside ordinary Australians, saying ‘yes’ to a price on pollution.
But we’re under attack. In major newspapers and on television news across the country the pollution lobby are going after Cate Blanchett. They’re claiming that we’re out of touch with ordinary Australians. Their panicked response shows we’ve hit the mark – and now is our chance to really step it up.
Sunday, June 5 is about saying yes to clean energy, healthier kids, new jobs and a safe future for young people. In fun, colourful, family friendly events across Australia, we will show the pollution lobby that their fear mongering is nothing next to our positive vision.
