We’ve Won the First Round!
Two weeks ago we heard that shock-jocks and right-wing politicians had organised a rally to say no to action on climate change. Immediately, AYCC volunteers, with our friends at GetUp, the ACTU and others, stepped in to organise a rally of our own. Last Saturday, 8,000 people came together in Melbourne in support of a price on pollution. Just 200 people turned up at the shock jocks rally.
