AYCC SA

There is always something to do in AYCC SA! You can join an existing group or get support to begin a group, working on projects based around short-term political change and long-term cultural change. We can do with writers, thinkers, actors, singers, dancers, nerds, designers, students, organisers, leaders, cyclists, cooks, friends and planners. Most particularly, we can do with you!

Since our group began in 2010, we have been involved in Climate Reality Week, hosted a Power Shift conference, and participated in the National Election Campaign. We also organised fundraiser screenings of ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘The Lorax’, and held a 500 person-strong parade in support of  replacing coal with solar thermal energy in Port Augusta.

2012 is going to be our biggest year yet! Get involved, learn skills, make friends, and take action! Just email me: kelly.mackenzie@youthclimatecoalition.org, and join us on Facebook

The email asked me and other members to make calls to local Labor politicians.  As well [...]
