Nick Allardice

Nick Allardice is a social change campaigner who has developed and lead a number of significant national campaigns around issues of global poverty and climate change. Nick is the General Manager of aid and development agency The Oaktree Foundation, sits on the core working group of the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Coalition and in addition to his role on the Board of Directors for the AYCC is a Non-Executive Director of award winning sustainability education NGO OzGREEN. Nick has been involved in the AYCC since the very beginning by starting of as a facilitator at the founding summit in 2006. Nick has worked at an international level for the United Nations Millennium Campaign by designing a youth mobilisation strategy for the Asia Pacific region, which is now being rolled out across 9 countries. Nick is an ongoing commentator on significant social issues through his regular opinion editorials for state and national newspapers, and also through co-authoring books like “The Future By Us: Australia Beyond 2020”. In 2009 the Australian Davos Connection recognised Nick by awarding him an “Australian Leadership Award”.
