A beautiful sculpture with a powerful message, the melting Ice Bear has been traveling the world since 2009.
The AYCC has been part of a project to bring the Ice Bear to Sydney for World Environment Day, featured by G Magazine.
(31 May, 2011) – A touchable, life-sized statue of a hunting polar bear will arrive at Customs House Square in Sydney later this week.
Coinciding with World Environment Day, this is the sixth stop on the Ice Bear’s global tour, which highlights the urgent threat of climate change to Arctic life.
