Right now our actions will make a difference!

While the Australian Youth Delegation is at the UN Climate Talks as part of the international youth climate movement, youth activists on the ground in Australia will be getting busy to create domestic political pressure.

For the two weeks of the UN talks, from November 29th, AYCC members and friends in a number of states and territories will be getting together to take sustained action, to convey the significance of climate change, and the movement that has grown in response to it.

Parliament is starting to talk about putting a price tag on pollution, and the AYCC  is meeting with Julia Gillard. This is a time when our actions will make a difference. For two whole weeks we’ll be dropping banners, organising fun, creative actions and getting climate change in our local media.

To join in on the action, email AYCC’s Volunteer Director at kirsty.albion@youthclimatecoalition.org
