WE STUFFED UP: we accidentally muddled the submissions email on this post. Eeek. If you have tried to submit your entry or are about to the correct email is submissions.blog@youthclimatecoalition.org – sorry people!
Have you got a passion for poetry? Do you look at the world through a camera lens? Or maybe you are the irrepressible, adventurous reporter-type?
Well, we are shouting out to young visionaries, writers, wordsmiths, poets, directors, storytellers, thought-leaders and creatives to get involved in our latest project.
The AYCC is launching a brand new blog.
It will be a home for radical ideas, big thinkers and everyone who wants to be in on the vibrant community debate on climate change. It’s a place for breaking out of the box, challenging conventional wisdom and letting your youth idealism run wild and free.
To kick it off, we’re running a competition to find the absolute best, brightest and sharpest submission for our launch post. The winner will be crowned our chief blogger and be offered a regular contributor gig as well as two tickets to see the legendary David Suzuki speak at the Sydney Opera House in his last Australian tour.
Want to know what it takes? Check this out.

The topic?
Change.
What needs to change? What will motivate people to change? How has the changing climate changed you?
Think big, think creative, and anywhere other than the inside of the box. Then write it, compose it, record it, film it, photograph it or code it, and flick it to submissions.blog@youthclimatecoalition.org by 5pm Monday October 18th (deadline has been extended). The winner will be notified and announced on Facebook on Wednesday October 20th and published as the launch post on our new-look blog shortly after!
