On 10/10/10 AYCC people will be donning their blue Tshirts and heading along to support the following events: what will you be doing?
- Sydney: ParraCAN, CAMWest and 350.org Bike Ride
Sunday 10 October 2010 from 10am to 2pm. Parramatta Park – Salter’s Field near old Dairy. Cycling for all ages and fitness levels from 11am in support of 350.org’s world wide campaign to reduce carbon dioxide in our atmosphere from 390 parts per million now, to below 350 ppm for a safe climate. - Hobart: AYCC Hobart Craftanoon.
Starting Sunday at 1pm, meet in the Museum courtyard in town ( opposite the Dunn St car park)
An afternoon of making! We are going to construct a ‘recycled room’ from everything and anything recycled we can get our hands on. The art installation will then be used at the Sustainability Expo on the 7th and 8th of November. On the day we will also hold a workshop beside the ‘room’ on making jewels from junk.
