Would you like to help spread AYCC’s message through the media?
AYCC is looking for a team of 5-6 Melbourne based volunteers for a new team that will focus on AYCC’s traditional media work. The media team will meet once a fortnight for sessions that will cover everything from practical media training to brainstorming, long-term planning, and responses to current issues and events.
To be part of the media team, you need to be available for one half-day introductory session on Sunday June 6th, followed by meetings every second Monday from 5.30pm-7pm starting Monday June 14th. In the lead up to and during major campaigns you will also be expected to commit to an extra few hours a week. You don’t need any specific skills or experience, just writing confidence and lots of enthusiasm.

At the moment this is just for Melbourne-based applicants, and there is only capacity for about 5-6 volunteers, but over time this will be expanded to include more people from different areas.
