I have to admit, I am not that disappointed. This poor outcome, was set in stone from the word &quot;go&quot;. You are almost certainly to young to remember &quot;The Club of Rome&#039;s&quot; commissioned treatise &quot;The Limit of Growth&quot;, very interesting reading, even nowadays.
The real shame is that many will have an excuse not to change their energy-intensive behaviour individually, since even the governments are not coming to a consensus.
Again K Rudd, and esp J Brumby will have free reign with those half-baked policies (deforastation, desal, clean-coal technologies)
I hope you had time to visit &quot;Christiania&quot;, a little oasis, which would be unthinkable in Australia.
